Swirl features deals on clothing and accessories selected by the editors of DailyCandy.

We love the online sample-sale trend — getting deals on brand-name fashions has never been easier. Now, fans of DailyCandy — which delivers in-the-know tips about food, fashion, trends and more via its website and e-mails — can score bargains with Swirl, Sample Sales by DailyCandy. The site, which had a soft launch last week, offers one sale every 72 hours featuring apparel and accessories from designers such as Alisha Levine, Lauren Merkin, Leigh & Luca, Kier + J. Tod’s and Burberry at up to 80 percent off the retail price. Sales begin at 11 am EST.

All of the items will be selected by the editors of DailyCandy. “We know our readers are busy and come to us for help with what to buy, wear, eat, see, etcetera,” says Meredith Howard, director of communications for DailyCandy. “Essentially, Swirl subscribers are shopping the DailyCandy closet!” Unlike Gilt and Rue La La, an invitation or membership request is not needed to join Swirl — simply sign up! However, a subscriber cap is in place before the official Feb. 1 launch, so only a limited number of shoppers will be able to participate. DailyCandy subscribers will have access to Swirl special offers, such as free shipping, early sale access and discounts.
