This emerald laser-cut dress caught our eye at Calvin Klein's fall show.
This latest installment of VIV’s Fashion Week coverage features men who know what women want.
Calvin Klein
This simple understated collection is reminiscent of the seminal Calvin Klein. Creative director Francisco Costa took a modern approach to dressing by adding asymmetrical lines to the classic car coat and pencil skirt. While working predominately with black and silver, Costa added a burst of yellow for an element of surprise. He also created several little-black-dress options, which are sure to be wardrobe staples. A felted wool peekaboo blazer and emerald green laser-cut one-shoulder dress were on our must-have list.
Oscar de la Renta
De la Renta knows how to keep the focus on the finer things, with fur collars and vests elegantly accessorizing powerful suiting. A stunning satin plum pantsuit was brilliantly paired with a belted red blouse, while a classic black satin skirt suit was updated with a plunge neckline and statement-making necklace. Cozy knits, sumptuous tweeds, leopard prints, romantic lace and a dazzling selection of cocktail dresses and evening gowns also made bold yet sophisticated appearances.
Brian Reyes
Reyes might have played it safe with his ultrafeminine, body-conscious collection, but his choice of shimmery fabrics and graphic prints added unexpected elegance. His highly wearable line showcased a wonderful range of separates such as the skirt suit and pantsuit as well as classic shift dresses worn over a sophisticated satin button-down — all ideal office attire. His crackle print gold dress as well as the crackle racer-back black dress with hints of copper were sexy standouts.
