Let’s face it: When doesn’t an order of Nova Scotia lobster nachos with guacamole or Parmesan truffle fries sound like a good idea? And because these items are available at The Palm, as part of the restaurant group’s “Fall for Success” seasonally inspired menus, having a bite to eat is also a philanthropic endeavor. Ten percent of the proceeds go to Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization that provides professional attire and career development tools to disadvantaged women.
The menus, available through Oct. 31 at any location of the steakhouse nationwide, also feature dinner selections that include (of course) Black Angus New York steak ($39) and Chilean sea bass ($36). On the lunch menu, you’ll find an ahi tuna burger ($16) and lobster salad ($18). In keeping with the empowered-woman theme, the restaurants offer four wines by female winemakers, and two cocktails (the Cat’s Meow and the Screaming Mimi, $14 each) created by mixologist Aisha Sharpe. Don’t you love when empowered women step up to help other females take charge of their lives?
