We all know that one designer’s size 6 is another’s 0. Even the terms “small,” “medium” and “large” are subjective these days. So when we heard that myShape.com could spare us from dressing-room roulette and the horror of seeing our least excellent features accentuated, we checked it out.
The clothing website shows only garments that specifically fit and flatter you, based on three factors: your style preferences, your measurements and one of seven body shapes assigned to you. A member, who has provided her measurements and fashion sense to myShape, has her own personal shop with clothes matched to her by the site’s ShapeMatch system, eliminating some of the gamble involved in ordering things online. Items — including accessories — are available from more than 200 designers, including Cynthia Rowley, MICHAEL Michael Kors, Nanette Lepore and White + Warren.
We love taking the guesswork out of choosing sizes. Which begs the question: Should clothing companies do away with vanity sizing? What do you think?

I love this! I tried to take advantage of post holiday shopping, but to no avail. Wish I would have checked this out before I headed to the mall.
