Lux Cover Cashmere Travels in Style

Some say travel is about the journey, not the destination. Frequently, though, we find that journey is a chilly one on plane flights, whether we’re traveling for work or escaping to an exotic locale to cure our winter doldrums. Everyone else can have their Snuggies, but we prefer the elegant comfort of Lux Cover, a line of cashmere travel accessories available in rich colors such as camel, charcoal gray, dark chocolate and deep black.

Lux Cover offers a cashmere travel blanket ($185), pillow duvet ($55) — perfect for resting our weary head on long flights — and travel socks ($55), which are nice to slip on after we’ve checked into a boutique hotel or spa. The latest addition, a cashmere travel hoodie ($195) with a side insert pocket for tucking away an MP3 player, PDA or glasses, was the result of “playing around with another scarf,” says founder Ericka Mays. Of course, you don’t have to relegate Lux Cover items solely to travel — we like swaddling ourselves in them when curling up with a book or a DVD at home.
