We called it the “waxident.” One day, in need of a quick brow shaping, we went to a cosmetology school where a student applied wax that was too hot. We had burned strips of skin under our brows, which also were overplucked, making us look constantly surprised. (It didn’t help that when we complained to a co-worker that our face hurt, he said, “It’s killing me, too!” and dissolved into laughter.) Unfortunately, we did not know until recently about Brow Boost ($19.95) — we’ve heard that brow experts are raving about it.
Brow Boost has a mixture of proteins and vitamins that help to strengthen weak or overplucked eyebrows, making them appear fuller, says Bob Plain, co-founder of Beverly Hills, CA-based Billion Dollar Brows, which makes the product. “We would highly recommend Brow Boost for customers who have overtweezed their brows or have had a bad wax job,” he says. Applying the eyebrow conditioner nightly for 30 days will help to speed up the restoration of thin or heavily tweezed brows, thus paving the way for the fuller arches we kept noticing at Fashion Week.
Have you ever had an eyebrow-tweezing go awry? Do you have any hints for keeping your arches full and shapely?

I have also had a Waxident, my poor brows looked almost like Vanilla Ice circa 1990. I am very picky these days about where I go to get my eyebrows waxed. Thank you for the product tip!
