This silk kaftan by Lotty B. was hand-painted on Mustique.
We look forward to the holiday market that pops up in New York City’s Union Square every November and December — it’s always packed with unique handmade crafts and accessories that make great gifts. So we were excited to hear about this Hamptons-based pop-up souk featuring international goods. Maybe now we can get a jump-start on our holiday shopping!
The one-day sale, hosted by Melissa Biggs Bradley of the travel website Indagare and Marcella Echavarria of the sustainable luxury goods shop SURevolution, takes place tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the new SURevolution boutique on 2464 Main St. in Bridgehampton, NY. Notable finds include colorful tunics from Irving & Fine, hand-painted kaftans by Lotty B., Anna Trzebinski‘s hand-beaded jewelry from Kenya, Gayle Warwick‘s hand-embroidered organic cotton linens, and beauty products from Kahina Giving Beauty. Ten percent of the sales will go to a charitable cause that supports sustainable craftsmanship or global tourism.
We like picking out gifts — especially when we’re browsing through a well-edited collection. Do you have a favorite go-to shop or site for presents?
