We’re still waiting for flying cars and self-cleaning houses, but for now this will do: Estée Lauder’s TurboLash All Effects Motion Mascara ($32). The opening of the cap activates a tiny motor, causing the LashSonic brush to vibrate — a feature that delivers extra lash length, curl, separation and volume.
The rapid, almost undetectable motion also prevents clumping; the result is dramatic, longer-looking lashes without dried clumps in our line of sight every time we blink. The battery should last the life of the mascara, provided you always twist the cap completely shut. (If we felt something vibrating in our purse, we’d probably check the cell phone a few times before realizing it’s only our mascara calling.)
Is there a beauty product you’re hoping will get a technological makeover?
