When we heard about the Diptyque Mini Candle Coffret in White Box collection ($98), we knew it would be the perfect gift for holidays, bridal showers and housewarmings. Three scents from the French fragrance company line the elegant gift box: Baies, a blend of black currant and Bulgarian rose; Feuille de Lavande, lavender leaf; and Figuier, fig tree. Each candle burns for about 30 hours and can be enjoyed by itself or with others to create a unique bouquet.

The gift of scented candles seems like a brilliant option for homeowners who would appreciate the idea of having a relaxing, warm night ambiance without intrusive lighting. Some people may even consider using LED fairy lights as beautiful complements/alternatives to the use of traditional candles as they offer the best of both worlds – LED fairy lights are portable, cheap, lasting, fire-proof, and have the romantic enchantment most often associated with the use of candles as illumination at night.
