It is not a simple tasking being a mother. Many say it is the hardest job there is, and these days, I tend to believe it’s true after having my second son this past April. While still in the hospital, tired and breastfeeding, my three year old turned to me and said adoringly, “Mama, you are beautiful; thank you for bringing my baby brother into the world.” I nearly fell off the bed trying to kiss him. So now, when mothering is too much to handle, I put myself in a time out and remember his caring words and praise.
