Professional trainer Ron Mathews and actor Lauren Graham have spent many hours training together in the gym over the past two years. Music is a key element for the duo, as it fuels their workout sessions. “Lauren and I prefer rock ’n’ roll and rap for more intense training like leg work, jumping moves and plyometrics,” says Mathews. The following up-tempo tunes also “inspire us to push hard when we lift weights.” (When they do cardio, they prefer more mellow music.)
