As featured in the March/April 2010 issue of VIVmag, while walking along Abbott Kinney Boulevard in Venice Beach, CA, actor Elisabeth Rohm (Law & Order, Heroes) stopped in her tracks one day when she passed Circuit Works LA and then had to go inside the workout studio, captivated by the high-energy class and engaging music. For three years now, she’s trained with founder Raphael Verela, and they love to blast the music during their sessions. “Music is a big part of our program,” explains Verela. “It keeps Elisabeth and the rest of our clients focused and in the zone. Elisabeth likes funky, upbeat hip-hop music to propel her into a total-body experience both mentally and physically. Elisabeth loves to perform all the movements ─ be it cardio or weights ─ to the rhythm of the music.”
