As seen in the Spring 2013 issue of VIVmag, professional dancer, choreographer and trainer Nicole Winhoffer met and began working with Madonna on her Sticky & Sweet Tour in 2009. The two connected over their love for dance and Winhoffer stepped in as Madonna’s personal trainer and partner on a new DVD series, Addicted to Sweat, based on their high-energy, dance and toning workouts together. Needless to say, music plays a key role while training for both of these sculpted women who are, in fact, addicted to sweat.
“Music dictates my movement, my workout, my programs, and my motivation both physically and emotionally. I love all types of music including R&B, hip-hop, techno, electro, classical, underground, Baile Funk, even oldies from the ’30s, ’40s and ’50s. They all tell a story and make me move in a different way,” exclaims Winhoffer. “Any piece of music that inspires me or my clients is essential to play in order to get the body to perform at its utmost potential!”
